Cave Capers 2025
Cave Capers 2025 will be the 72nd annual gathering. Cavers from all over the United States will come together in Indiana on August 7-10, 2025 at Crawford County Fairgrounds. There will be caving, music, food, gear vendors and lots of catching up with old friends.

Located in the heart of Crawford County, Indiana near Marengo, IN. The fairgrounds has been host to our event many times in the past and we are excited to return again.
Tent camping is included in your registration fees, but if you wish to bring an Camper/RV you will need to contact the fairgrounds to arrange a reservation.

The Gauntlet is a volunteer run technical Alpine Single Rope Technique ropes course that will challenge any cavers to learn, expand or refine their vertical skills.
While the team does have some loaner gear, please be sure to bring any vertical gear you may have - including your chest harness, seat harness, ascenders, cows tails, and descender. And don't forget your gloves and helmet!
Remember the Gauntlet is brought to you exclusively by volunteers, feel free to donate to The Gauntlet below.
Banquet by Cedar Hill Catering
Camping at Crawford County Fairgrounds
Catering will be provided by Bedford's own Cedar Hill Catering. If you choose to participate in the banquet you will get a choice of: Pulled Pork BBQ, Baked Chicken, or Vegetarian Lasagna for your main dish. Sides will be a tossed garden salad, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, and roll. With a drink choice of Sweet Tea, Unsweet Tea or Lemonade. For dessert we will have turtle brownies and assorted cookies. Yum, that sounds tasty.
Don't forget to purchase your banquet tickets ahead of time, we will be unable to honor any banquet sales after pre-registration closes.
Skeleton Crew
Announcing our band for Cave Capers on Saturday night, Skeleton Crew! The Saturday night party will be the place to be! IYKYK. Diverse and high powered grooves with some outlaw country flair. Come party the night away with these boys from Indiana's own Terre Haute.
Fuzzstration
Crawford County's own 3 Piece rock/psychedelic band to play funky sounds to get the Howdy Party started!

Please be aware that pets are not permitted on the premises at any time for Cave Capers 2025.
There is limited shade and limited access to stores/restaurants at this location. Please be sure to plan accordingly.
